“My dream as an accountant has never been to crunch numbers for one of the big four accounting firms, or to make partner with some shitty corporation. I grew up in a garage, building hotrods and had an extensive line of work as a warehouse worker/laborer away from retail. My love for numbers comes from a broken home and a tough past. Accounting made sense to me in a world that didn’t and numbers don’t lie. My heart is with the blue collar workers that make this country thrive. The dishwashers at Round Table Pizza, the apprentice at A action Electrical, the body man at Clip Joint, the warehouse assistant working nights at Waxie Sanitary Supplies, and the artists that bust their asses to sell their masterpiece in Santa Barbara every Sunday.
